JET Engineering, LTD. (or JET) is a Delaware Limited Liability Company. Operations began in 1995 with one goal in mind, to develop noise suppression nozzles for the MD-80 aircraft to comply with increasingly stringent global noise regulations. The company’s first product, the SuperQ MD80, has received full STC FAA and EASA certification. The company continues to develop this noise suppression technology and is exploring its use on other aircraft. JET Engineering, Ltd. is headquartered in Tucson, Arizona.
JET Engineering designed, tested and certified the SuperQ MD80 JET Nozzle and is the holder of FAA STC Numbers ST01542LA, ST01943LA, SE01944LA and European STC Numbers EASA.IM.A.S.01042, EASA.IM.A.S.02331, EASA.IM.E.S.01012.
